I have been seeing dozens of posts across Instagram with people so excited for their first PSL (pumpkin spice latte) of the season and to be honest? I just can’t get on board. Not because cause I don’t like them but because they are a trademark of Fall and I am not ready for Summer to be over. However, England weather seems to have a different idea with nights dipping down into the 50’s so I will have to start transitioning my wardrobe soon.
It was so freaking hot when we took these photos a few weeks ago, one of which I shared on Instagram previously, (you can see it here) but I am glad to see you can’t see it a ton in these photos, or at least I hope so! These photos were taken on the old city walls of Chicsworth, a town on the South coast of England, when We went for Tinwood Estate for our wine tour. After cabbing back from the vineyard i changed out of my romper (which UK readers you can still find here) and put on something a bit nice for dinner.
For some reason I have really been gravitating towards a black and red color combo lately – This red crepe mini dress is Summer time fun with the puff sleeves and pleats which give it a 60’s feel but I tried to modernize it with the black leather bag and my favorite golf crescent pendant from Gorjana. And to finish it off wanted to add a bit of spice with these pumps – black Suede upper with contrast embroidered feathers. take a look

I love this red dress on you. You look very happy in these photos. I love your heels and bag too. I don’t blame you I don’t want summer to ever end. I try to switch to my winter wardrobe as late as possible and switch back to my summer wardrobe as soon as possible. I am going to Florida for Thanksgiving with boyfriend and I can’t wait for warmer weather. Winter has arrived in NYC.
