Feeling Spotty

Black and White Polka Dots with Microsuede Over the Knee Boots

Welcome to another instalment of Fashion Friday, and to be completely honest, an outfit I am still on the fence about.  However, I came across a meme last week that was a quote from Anna Kendrick that said, “You can’t have a bad day in polka dots.”  And it made me smile.  While I think that may be going a bit far I do agree that polka dots are a very happy pattern and when I like my outfit it does tend to brighten my mood.  So these photos I was questioning, you get to see them today.

In addition to loving polka dots I do like the color palette here – black and white is such a classic and I actually wore a version of this outfit to New York Fashion Week a few years ago, does anyone remember this outfit?   This outfit was definitely not shot in a place with snow on the ground but I think you get the idea and it features another piece from the Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collection!  You may recall from past Fashion Fridays I have also featured the red blazer and min skirt from this Blair Eadie designed collection.  Take a how I styled this Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific Black and White Polka Dots Print Button-Up:

This look came out so well and I think the layered pieces work so well, regardless of the climate.   And I will leave you with another fun quote about the pattern, “There is never a wrong time for a polka dot.” by one of my favorites, Marc Jacobs.

What do you outfit with black and white polka dots?

That was an interesting post. I love your fashion style and I just fall in love with your earrings. These kinds of accessories are liked by people of all age groups. Especially, among the youngsters, the obsession for Such identity accessories including piercing jewelry has changed the style statements. A fashion accessory is a decorative item that supplements one’s outfit. An accessory adds color, style, and class in an outfit. Well, if I’d be asked to add accessories to my style, I would prefer labret piercing jewelry in the first place. The Eyebrow-Piercing have become very popular.

Nice collection! I must say, a perfect style icon for every young girl. You are lookin so pretty in these pictures. Including that, you can also add sexy corset, bras for unique style and great support. Adding them in the closet is one of the bets styling ways to any occasions.

Ok the blog title caught me off guard. I was prepared for a spotted cuddly little animal that you encountered on your many travels but no, real spots.

Polka dots have been the rage for a bit but I particularly like these larger dots. Very bold and effective so yes is the answer.

Boots are to dye for. The laces on the back add such a nice touch without overdoing it.

Great that they are almost flat so you could wear them to an event where you had to walk a bit or stand for a while. Most of mine have a higher heel and good for a date night but not very practical for a day or walking event. Good choice.

What a fabulous look, how do you manage to look sexy yet casual at the same time. Going to copy this look for my date tonight.

    Thanks for the tip.
