Happy, Happy Friday! I can not believe we only have one more full week left of 2019, that is absolutely nuts. And that said, it is the middle of December and I am now going to start featuring full Winter outfits on for Fashion Fridays because it is officially cold almost everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. Between the Black Friday sales at Shopbop, Nordstrom, Kate Spade, Gorjana, and a few others I absolutely cleaned up last month as able to shoot almost a dozen looks for you all over Thanksgiving that I am very excited to share over the next few Friday’s. For today’s look, the feature piece is this mint pleated croc midi skirt!
You may recall a few years ago I featured a post on Blair Eadie, a New York blogger whose style I adore and since then she has also made a number of appearance in my fashion post roundups. Well, she did a collection with Halogen called Halogen® x Atlantic-Pacific at Nordstrom and last month I picked up half a dozen pieces from the line, including this skirt! This pleated croc midi skirt is so much fun – it is perfect for twirling – and I styled it here so it could be the hero piece. Take a look:

I really love how this look turned out even if the skirt really is quite heavy and made the spinning shots actually quite difficult. I am curious though, I usually do a round up post at the end of every year of my favorite outfits – is that something I should do again?

That twirling shot is gorgeous. The flow of the skirt is perfect, not too voluminous but plenty of fabric for a good old wooosh.
Interesting color too and against the black top and tights and cute booties it really stands out.
I am going to try it on this weekend when I go shopping and hopefully it will look as good on me as it does you.

Such a fun skirt, I can see how pretty you feel in it. I would want to be twirling all day long and sashaying down the hall, the street or wherever I was. FUN!
