One of my favorite posts to put together every year are my top picks from the red carpet. One thing that made this Best Dressed Golden Globes 2019 post a little bit different though is that the show did not start until 1:00 am GMT on Monday, 7th January based on the time difference here in London. Thus, I am bringing you my best dressed picks a bit after the fact, I hope you don’t mind the delay! And since the last time I got a bit of flack for “ripping off” a set list – this does not match any of the top 10 I have seen and I have sourced the images from People Magazine, Forbes, and even Vogue. In the past I have also featured my worst dressed but I will just list them out for you this year – Alison Brie in Custom Vera Wang, Gemma Chan in Valentino, Julianne Moore in Givenchy, Lucy Liu in Galia Lahav, Emma Stone in Louis Vuittonand this will be a debatable one but I rally did not like Anne Hathaway’s leopard and sequin Elie Saab dress.
And now that we are done with fashion – a big congratulations to all of the winners – I am particularly thrilled with host, Sandra Oh’s win as well (and loved that red dress she presented in) as A Star is Born’s best original song success.

Thandie Newton in Michael Kors is my favorite. The way the colors change especially when you saw it on television was fantastic.
I still am not used to seeing Julia Roberts as a blond and I can’t believe how amazing Hallee Berry still looks.

I was a bit disappointed in the dresses this year.
I especially thought that given the me too movement that maybe a bit less cleavage would be showing but I guess not.
Only two or three looks even gave me pause.
