Hello, hello Friday! I am so happy to see and even though it was a short week it was definitely a jam packed one! As some of you guesses on Instagram last night, I am heading down to D.C. this weekend for one more weekend of travel before two weeks off. It is my university’s alumni weekend I will get to see another great basketball game which I am excited about. But enough of that for now – let’s talk about this outfit. My go-to look is all black so I love when I can add a pop of color like this cerise / punk hue and this black feather vest is a little extra but I love it.
The boots are new too – I have a pair of great Steve Madden over the knee boots since college but one time too many led to a very loose and wobbly heel and I wanted to make sure I got a new pair before they snapped one day when I was out walking – enter this great pair from Aldo which are currently 50% off! I love the look, and think the boots do look good with these pants, it could easily be too busy with more colors, etc. I have over the knee boots very fitted, too, I hope I get my use out of them before they go out of style. Is the vest maribou? I have a cute cream colored maribou shrug.

I love your pink top with your stylish feather vest and those over the knee high heel boots. I can still see the boots but a skirt in this case would be better so that the boots stand out more. The black jeans as much as I like them in this case hides the boots but will keep you warm. Meanwhile have a great time in DC this weekend.
