Hi from Seattle, Washington! Remember when I said I was not traveling for a little while? Well that was thrown out the window with a last minute work trip but it’s a good thing I love what I do! I’ll be back in NYC in time for dinner tomorrow but did want to share this awesome photo I posted above two weeks ago when I was flying over Greenland on my way home from Scandinavia. Well, I wanted to address that and also something that for some reason I did chat about – my new blog design! At the end of June Sparkles and Shoes got a major facelift and I’m in love. Lisette of High Note Design did a great job and I need to hold up my end of the bargain making sure everything is tagged and looks great within the new format. I am about 80% of the way there and it has been such a fun experience to relive all of my travels as I make sure they are all categorized properly. That was actually one of the things that lead me to putting together this list of all of the countries I have been to – 49 in all!

Are there any countries on this list you find surprising? Any countries you thought I had been to but have not? When I showed it to my Mom (hi Mom!) she mentioned that I missed Germany but I actually haven’t made it there yet! With a trip to Iceland on the books for November that will make it 50 by the end of the year and I can’t wait!

Wow! You’ve been around!! I think it’s really hard to pick a favorite. I love Sweden, but maybe I’m biased because that’s where I’m from. I’d love to know what’s your favorite!

One your traveling this year alone would wear me out. Two Puerto Rico is part of the United States. So you really been to 48 Countries so far. I got one for you. You should plan a trip to Australia & New Zealand. Best time to go is there summer (December to March).

Africa is # 1 hands down…tough #2, The Great Barrier Reef, Alaska, Milford Sound in New Zealand, Barcelona or Florence…
