My Valentines Day Gift Guide 2017

Hello and welcome to the second month of the year, we made it! January was rough for many, especially around the 20th, but we have made it to February, the shortest month of the year and one that definitely centers around love. Last year I published a Valentine’s Gift Guide for her and for him and the year before a gift guide for the single girl. This year is definitely all about the girl’s, whether you are buying a present for yourself, your best friend, your girl friend, fiancé, wife, Mom, or anyone else special in your life!

Now that Valentin’s day is less than two weeks away I hope I can give you some ideas if you are still searching for a gift! This year Valentine’s Day is the last day of New York Fashion Week and it falls on a Tuesday so it is likely that I will be at the office all day and then fingers crossed, to a show in the evening so it is unlikely that it will be a true Valentine’s Day with hearts, candy, and romantic candlelight but I am sure it will be great none the less.

And if still none of these 13 items is quite doing it for you my friends at Gilt are stepping it up a notch. Here in NYC Gilt and North Shore Animal League America are spreading the love this Valentine’s Day, hosting a puppy adoption event at the Gilt shop in NYC’s Saks OFF 5TH on next week on Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th, from 12 pm – 5 pm each day. Attendees can play with adorable pups and have the chance to meet (and take home) their own furry Valentines. PLUS, Gilt will cover the adoption fees of the first 20 approved adoptions!

Now you many know dogs aren’t really my thing but even I think that these puppies in ties are pretty darn cute. So head to the Gilt shop in Saks OFF 5TH, located at 125 East 57th Street, next weekend if you are local and Gilt City members can learn more about this event and RSVP, here!
