Are We Still in the Choker Necklace Craze?

Now that 2016 has nearly come to an end I find myself asking if one of my least favorite trends of the year, the return of the choker, will die along with it.  Don’t know what I am talking about?  Take a look at Kendall Jenner’s April look above from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (and who could forget the burn when Obama said that he was “not sure what she does”).

To be honest though, a few of my friends, both real and blogging, look absolutely killer wearing a choker necklace when styled well, but for the most part I do not find them particularly attractive. I must be in the minority though as nearly everyone jump on the train, including my past style icon Miranda Kerr and Kate Beckinsale along with dozens of other celebs and models but none more than Gigi Hadid.  Take a look at a few times it was done well:
