The Stunning Cliffs of Moher

Do you ever enter a situation with really, really high expectations and then get disappointed when they are not met?  Well it happens to me often but luckily my visit to the Cliffs of Moher was not one of those times. I had heard from my brother, parents, colleagues, and countless friends that seeing this natural wonder was one of the highlights of their trip to Ireland and I am happy to say, it was the same for me.  I am not a fan of long car rides, especially on mega buses, but the three hour drive from Dublin across the country of Ireland to County Clare where the Cliffs of Moher are was more than worth it. 

The weather was so crazy the two hours I was there that I have some pictures with perfect blue sky and some with hazy, cold mist but all made for a truly special visit. Take a look at my day at the Cliffs of Moher: 

The pictures above are what I was expecting the Cliffs of Moher to look like but I did not know there was going to be a castle and a whole separate section of even more gorgeous cliffs than the four stacked ones in all the photos.  Take a look and yes, I know there are quite a few but I have more than 300 photos from this stunning place so bear with me and take a look at my favorites – I hope you get the sense of just how vast and stunning it really is!

It was absolutely incredible and I recommend a visit to the Cliffs of Moher for anyone who can make it happen!
