Happy, happy 4th of July! As you may have seen on social media I have been in Massachusetts since late Friday night and will be here through tomorrow. I am very excited I had the chance to come up and spend the holiday weekend with my family in Cape Cod which has included a surprise last minute visit from a set of cousins I have not seen in years. As far as actual plans of the 4th today we am double booked for bbqs with friends.
Both lunch and dinner will be outdoors and I am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends as well as meeting new ones in the perfect 80 degree weather we have been having. They will be very low key and causal but if they were a bit fancier this is the 4th of July outfit I might have worn – I am particularly in love with the cutouts on this new dress:
