Coming home from spending time with my family in Florida is never easy but at least the temperature is not freezing. There are many things I love about Spring and one of the signs warmer weather is definitely on its’ way is the the amazing flowers popping up all over the place including these beautiful daffodils a few blocks from office. So pretty!  But one of my least favorite things about Spring? Mud.  Why is there literally mud everywhere?

I live in New York City affectionately called the concrete jungle but somehow there is still mud everywhere. One of the best ways around that?  A cute doormat to not only welcome guests to your humble abode but they make sure less of that dreadful mud makes it into your house or apartment. Here are a handful of my favorite cute doormats, most of them handmade from Etsy:

    I love the #knockknock one! Our door has pretty much zero space under it, and it swings inward so doormats never fit and always get caught in the door (and I was too worried a cute one would get stolen outside in the hallway of our building!)
