There are bunch of fashion “rules” I don’t agree with. Wearing white after labor day, combining prints, or that your shoes need to match bag. One of these rules it that red and pink are not supposed to be worn together but in certain instances I think the color combination can work quite well, and for more than just Valentine’s Day.
One of my style icons, power house blogger Blair Eadie, nails this combination very well mixing pink and red frequently. As my grandmother put it, she could make anything look good, so here are two of her great looks along with a handful of others illustrating just how you can mix pink and red and make it work:
How do you feel about mixing pink and red?

I love this combo! I wore a similar look on the blog near valentines day with a pink tulle skirt and red blouse.

I love mixing red and pink, I even did an outfit post on it. I’m sure its going to blow up now because of Taylor’s outfit at the Grammy’s, but I think it’s such a sweet and bright color combo!
