The Last …

The last…post that was late on Sparkles & Shoes. Honestly, I can not remeber.  I try and do a good job of scheudling my posts in advance and then proof reading them the night before. Well, last night that did not happen – I had a fun post planned for 7am this morning but instead of checking typos last I sang a killer rendition of Wonderwall at karoke, if  I do say so myself.

This post did not see the light of day until almost 10am because, well, sometimes life happens. Sometimes life gets in the way of publishing a blog five times a week at 7am EST and while I try not to let it  occur to often but sometimes, life happens.  Today I am going to share a handful of the lasts.

Thing I ate... a power crunch bar in chocolate mint and a large glass of water.  Boring, yes, but they are seriously the best tasting “protein” bars I have ever tried! 

Activity I did... wrote an email.

Song I listened to... Right Where We Want It by Dustin Lynch – not a song I know well, just one that came up in my Sam Hunt Radio station on Pandora.

Time I swore…  this morning when I tried to get my suitcase down fro the top of my closet and hit my funny bone. Not so funny.

Photograph I took … the one above of the pink clouds. I am a sucker for pretty sunsets.

Thing I watched... the final episode of Empire.  My mom recommended it and she knows me so well, it was great although I do have to agree with a coworker’s assessment – it is a bit like a soap opera. 

Product I used... John Frieda Frizz Ease in Extra Strength, my hair and 90% humidity do not get along well.

Account I followed on Twitter... Baljeet Singh, @singhtv ,the head of video at Twitter.  He and his team came in to the office earlier this week and shared some glimpses about the future of video ads on Twitter, so cool!  #agencylife

Book I read… the Orphan Train and I highly recommend it. 

Thing that frustrated me... unevenly timed subway trains.  Three come within four minutes and there is 11 minutes with out a train.  #notokay.
