Happy New Year and welcome to 2015!  Let’s just pause a moment, holy crap, it’s 2015!  Time is absolutely flying by and it is crazy to think this blog now has posts from 2012, 2013, 2014, and now 2015!  The past two years I did a very long post about my resolutions on January 1st of both 2013 and 2014 and was planning to do the same this year when I saw this on Twitter.  I clicked, it made me smile, and instead of a list of goals this year I have one resolution. Granted, it is more of a goal, but isn’t that what a resolution is – a commitment to reach a goal?  My one and only resolution for 2015 is: 

Be the happiest and most adventurous version of myself possible.

I wrote a few weeks ago that one thing I learned in college was to go to odd events and it’s not a lesson I have stuck to rigidly since graduating. Looking back on it, why the heck not? I live in New York City and the world is literally my oyster. As tempting as Netflix in my beautiful studio is, this year I am not going to try to be more adventurous – no, I will be more adventurous.  And because every post needs a picture – ATVing in Curaçao in 2011, very adventurous! 

And then just in case I was not set on this one resolution already, one of my favorite super models, Doutzen, posted on Instagram, “Goals are like magnets they’ll attract the things that make them come true!” Thank you, D, that is exactly what I am saying.
