Window pane. Grid pattern. Boxy check. Whatever you would like to call it, I am in love! This classic pattern started popping up on everything from the spring Chanel runway to Kate Spade Saturday glassware.
With the help of this oversize check print, fashion show goers made a major statement on the streets of New York in September for Fashion Week. I do not think I could pull it off but I loved seeing this graphic pattern head to toe. However, there are some lovely ladies who really made their window pane print the hero item of their ensemble.
So this grid like print is indeed a rare look to wear but it could be worth it. Every now and then I come across something rare with trends and for fall it’s actually nice to see something new.
In the beginning of September during NYFW Kate Spade did not have a typical runway show but they did have a Garden Party and this look on the right was on of my favorites!
The trend has been spotted on everyone from Keira Knightley to Victoria Beckham, but these five looks above by prominent bloggers are my favorite. There are so many great ways to wear this print. I have searched high and low and these are my favorite six pieces:
