Polka Dots on 5th Avenue

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend a variety of Fashion Week events from brunch and a show to a rooftop event and drinks.  A full recap post will be coming soon with photos from all of these amazing events (you can see sneak peaks on my Instagram account) but I simply could not wait to share these photos with you from Saturday afternoon:

On Saturday I met up with six other bloggers in Bryant Park for a picnic and it was simply amazing.  The food was good, the girls were great, and the photos were phenomenal. I have to give a big THANK YOU to Alyssa from The Runway Chef for bringing along her husband who was our photographer for the afternoon.

Honestly, only with someone as comforting and reassuring as Dave would I have gone out and stood in the middle of 5th Avenue at 42nd Street to take outfit pictures but he was a very good car/bus watcher and made sure I did not get run over, thank you!

After our meeting and photos at Bryant Park I went up to Lincoln Center with Alyssa and her amazing husband the hub of all things New York Fashion Week. At the time we were not seeing any shows but the outfits some girls were wearing were more interesting that half of the shows.  We had a blast critiquing various outfits and it was so nice to find another blogger who actually says it like it is!

This was my first time wearing this polka dot dress (an early birthday present), but I expect it will be
in frequent rotation soon and get ready for more Fashion Week posts!
