Sperry’s With a Twist

With my 4th of July post yesterday I have really arrived in the holiday mindset. I mentioned one of my favorite ways to dress for the 4th is with items from my own closet.  With this in mind, I have already decided that these cute Sperry flats are going to be a part of my outfit this holiday: 
I have to say though, silly me.  Before I picked up these beauties at the Nordstrom Semi-Anual Sale last year I thought Sperry only made boat shoes. I now understand that they make dozens of flats and from the selection they have currently available  their website these ones are still my favorite. Although, none of my dozen plus picks are from Sperry (as these shoes have been discontinued) here are other patriotic favorites:

    I LOVE your sperrys! I’m obsessed with my Sperry boat shoes; I can imagine how amazing the flats are. I’m loving those start ballet flats too. So cute.

    Those Sperrys are super cute. I’ve slowly been realizing they aren’t limited to just boat shoes too. I’ve had those gingham Louboui’s on my feet and let me just say they fit like a dream. The price? Not so much.

    Those Sperrys are cute! I’m in love with the brand. I would definitely wear those for the 4th, but I’ll probably just be wearing the basic flip flop, per usual.
