What does this weekend have in store? An overdose of cleaning! With my move in June official switching over wardrobes and a general top to bottom apartment cleaning will be a bit more intense. And just to be clear, I am NOT one of those girls who “likes” to clean – I hate dirt but cleaning is just not my thing. I know the only way I am going to get through my massive to-do list is with frequent breaks, curled up on the couch watching a few segments of one of the dozens of shows on my Ti-Vo. And, what is the best way to enjoy these brief happy moments? With a chenille blanket of course!
Chenille blankets are one of the most comfortable things you could put next to your skin, just ask the two month old me (yes, that really is me swaddled in that blanket). Even now when you search “chenille” in Google the first result is the Amazon.com search under the categories “Baby Products › Nursery › Bedding › Blankets & Swaddling” but as a grown adult I still love them, however, we call them “throws” now, not blankets.
I highly recommend the braided one’s currently on sale at Restoration Hardware – the site describes them as, ” Our luxuriously thick, butter-soft throws are rich in color and character.” and I completely agree. This is one of those items I highly suggest you splurge on as you will have it for years! (You can find them here, and here)
So in between spring cleaning this weekend I will definitely be curling up in one! Wish me luck and if it goes well, perhaps, more to come next week!
Oh, and BIG congratulations to the winners of my 1,000 Follower Giveaway, your entries have been varified and you will be contact shortly about your prizes, congratulations!

I have a love hate relationship with ‘cleaning’ firstly I have to be in the mood to do it, which is pretty rare LOL. Though I don’t mind doing laundry or cleaning out my closet, I always end up finding gems, every time!
Happy Sunday lovely,

I am the same way! I hate dirt and clutter, but I hate cleaning more. I am going to start my spring cleaning soon. It’ll probably take me forever, but I’m going to do 1-2 rooms at a time and do a thorough cleaning. Oh joy. lol
