My Christmas vacation starts tomorrow and to kick it off the right way I have packed my Elf DVD to watch on the plane down to Florida.  After “The Holiday” Elf is my favorite Christmas movie and will be sure to put me in the holiday spirit!

It is hard to believe the movie came out almost ten years ago – it is such a cute story of not fitting in and then coming home that I am sure it will become a classic.  In my opinion, it is one of those movies that five year olds and 85 year olds can both enjoy.  Will Farell is not my favorite actor but in this role he really can do no wrong as he experiences New York city as an elf!

    There are so many great moments and great lines in that movie–it’s impossible to watch it to often. “So, good news…I saw a dog today” always makes me laugh because he plays the roll with so much energy, I imagine that’s what my Border Collie would be like if he magically became human.

    Ah! Just another thing we have in common! I LOVE the movie ELF! It is my absolute one million perfect favorite Christmas movie EVER. I’m pretty sure I have each line memorized and watch it every few days during the Holidays. Love it!

    I freakin love Elf and I watch it not just at Christmas ( haha)
    I was shopping with my boyfriend on Sunday we got an escalator and he said ‘ I just thought of Buddy the Elf!’ Hahaha I think I’ve got him hooked too xx

    Hands down my favorite Christmas movie ever! I had no idea it’s been out for 10 years. That’s insane to think about. And I will forget now bc I feel old. Haha.
