Welcome to Sparkles & Shoes’ 100th Post!  
During this time of year, when I lived in the suburbs, I loved driving around and looking at the holiday lights on people’s houses.  These drives, often on Christmas Eve’s, made for very fond childhood memories and I definitely could not have done my my  12 Days of Christmas  without mentioning them!
Some I believe are really tastefully done:

    I love the first three! I’ve never had lights on my house, but I like making a thermos of cocoa and driving around, looking at the lights, listening to holiday music.

    I am divided on this topic, since I believe it to be not so good for the environment, using up so much electricity for such a show… but the kid in me is all “Oooh”!

    No, we do not celebrate this… and neither do our neghbourss decorate their
    Houses or Apartments(balconies & windows).

    I do love those tasteful ones and can’t help to laugh a little at the other ones. πŸ™‚ There aren’t tons in my neighborhood [townhouses] that have too many lights, but there is one right up from us with lots of lights…that blink…and music even plays! It’ a bit obnoxious! haha.

    Anyway, congrats on the 100th post! πŸ™‚

    My favorite looks are the clear light styles in the first three photos. Our family does the drive thru the neighborhood on Christmas eve to see the lights. That’s also when the luminairies are lit and line the street πŸ™‚ Congrats on your 100th post! I just had mine on Monday πŸ™‚
