Nude Pumps

Happy Friday! Friday is my favorite day of the week and what better way to celebrate then with shoes!  Two weeks ago on I feature a pair of shoes from my closet, studded flats and last week it was snakeskin flats. Every Friday I am going to pick a pair from my collection and write about them.  Now that it is week three it is only fitting to get into heels, specifically nude pumps!  When I was getting dressed for the gala that I attended last Friday evening I had a very difficult time trying to decide what shoes to wear – I needed to choose a pair that would compliment my gold gown but not take away from the grandeur of the dress.  My two options for nude pumps are my insanely comfortable Cole Hann with Nike Air and a pair of peep-toe Circa by Joan & David. These shoes work with every season and I ended up choosing the Circa’s and they worked great.  I am hunting for a new pair and nude heels and they are one of the very few things I will NOT by online because I think trying them on and matching the color of the beige and your skin tone is crucial.  Right now these are my favorites:

    Love the idea of writing about your shoes, and the first post. Nude pumps are essential in my opinion. I own one pair from Mango, and I wore it so much past season, I definitely will need another one just to switch them!

    Well shoot, friend! You really are stepping up your shoe purchase this time around. Your new possibilities are so much more expensive than Cole Haans and Joan and Davids. I wear Cole Haans because my feet are crap and I really appreciate the Nike Air. Plus, its about the best shoe I can afford. But why not go Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin if you can afford to do so?

    Love! I wore nude pointy-toed kitten-heeled slingbacks from Primark all summer, and just picked up this pair of mid-heel patent courts from M&S for this season – couldn’t believe they were only £15!

    I don’t actually have any nude heels (yet), but I totally agree with you about matching the colour to the skin tone – such a tiny detail, but does wonders (or can ruin everything). Love your new finds, especially Jimmy Choos – have a soft spot for suede.

    I’m like closet fashionista with saying nude heels don’t go so great with my fair complexion. I do agree though that they can be worn just about any time and are the perfect go to shoe if you aren’t sure what to pair your outfit with.
