NARS Make Up

I only recently learned that NARS Cosmetics is a Shiseido-owned  company which makes it that much better.  I was first introduced to the brand while shopping in Sephora in high school. I was shocked that in this high end store located in a very conservative mall carried a makeup line had products with very provocative names such as ‘Orgasm’, ‘Deep Throat’, ‘Striptease,’ and ‘Sex Machine’. However, I became addicted to NARS’ ‘Orgasm’ blush like so many others.  

The color is described as a peachy pink with shimmer and it looks great year round.  NARS is similar to MAC in that they are both high end make-up brands that can not be found in drug stores, but in my boot, NARS reigns supreme.  Today NARS bronzer in Laguna and their blush in Orgasm are part of my daily make up routine, while I Use Orgasam Illuminator and Flamance lipstick for nights out.

I love these staples but I am lusting over their limited-edition eye shadow palette in the design of Andy Warhol’s iconic painting of silk screen flowers (here).  My favorite shade of this new collection is in Flower 2  which is white and blue against a dark grey and black background.  To make it even more wonderful it has the quote, “You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddently thrill you” on the inside mirror, what a great motto!

    I’ve only just gotten NARS laguna last week, and it’s been great so far. Not sure if I’m going to swap it permanently for my go-to bronzer from MAC though, we’ll see. Heard soooo much about Orgasm and will definitely check it out next time I’m at the counters ๐Ÿ™‚

    Can you believe I’ve actually never used NARS brand makeup?! I don’t know why, I’ve just always been a MAC girl. But I will definitely have to check it out… I’ve heard so much about the “orgasm” blush!

    I love NARS, and I use the Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush every day too! I’m absolutely gutted about the Warhol collection – the Flowers palette and the Debbie Harry palette were the two things I really wanted and neither of them are available in the UK, which I’m pretty cross about – so no NARS Warhol for me ๐Ÿ™ x

    I’ve always wanted to try the browser and blush but I’m still trying to use up the products I currently have! That eye shadow palette is so pretty!
