If you do not know by now, Monday mornings are just NOT my thing. In college I planned my schedule so I did not have class until 11am, but in Corporate America that just does not work. So instead, I turn to Pandora on Monday mornings to make the start of the week a little bit better. By default I usually leave my account on Maroon 5 so all I have to do is hit the button on my dash bar and within seconds I am greeted by the amazing voice of Adam Levine. My favorite thing about Pandora is that I do not know what song will come next – whether it’s another Maroon 5 song or the wonderful voices of John Mayer, Nickleback, Five for Fighting, The Script, One Republic, Adele, Gavin DeGraw or Coldplay.
Besides this one, I have many playlists for whatever I am in the mood for. I usually choose between Maroon 5 Radio, Matt Nathanson Radio, or Dave Matthews Band Radio when I am at work or looking for a mix of relaxing music. Songs often come on the shuffle playlist that I really like and write down to download later and in the meantime can select the checkmark so the song suggestions can be more tailored to the type of music I like.
Rihanna Radio, Lil Wayne Radio, or “Wild Ones” Radio are my top choices when I want something fun, up lifting, or if I am getting ready to go out. I use their free subscription which means every 10 songs or so there is a short advertisement. People tell me that I need to use Spotify but I am in love with Pandora both on my computer and on my cell. Regardless of where I am listening, definitely one of my favorite things!
