As you are reading this I am currently sailing down the Nile with my family. I have told a handful of people I would be spending New Year’s on the Nile and they looked at me sideways thinking it was the name of a cool bar or a chic rooftop but no. When I saw the Nile I do mean the famous river in Egypt. Since Boxing Day I have been in Egypt, spending the first few days in Cairo and Alexandria in the North of the country and now in the middle floating down the Nile south of Luxor.
This is definitely the most interesting place I have rung in the New Year but I wanted to take a quick moment to say thank you for another wonderful year of Sparkles and Shoes – I am so lucky to have all of you following along and I looking forward to making the blog even bigger and better in 2020! As far as Egypt? It has been an incredible trip so far and one where I have tried to minimise my screen time to truly enjoy the beauty but I did want to pop on and just wish all of you a wonderful New Year!
