It is January. It is Winter. We just got through a polar vortex. And I am less than a month post partum. To say that heels have taken a backseat is an understatement. On my maternity leave with Lily I lived in sneakers but lately it has been all about comfortable boots – uggs or options with treads if the weather calls for it. However, as it warms up I am sure I am going to be transitioning back to trainers and I know these LK Bennett Metallic Sneakers will be in frequent rotation. Take a look at all of the ways I have styled them over the years and I have geo-tagged each one as, simialr to many items featured in my Really Love My… series, they are quite well traveled.

I can tell you exactly when and where I got these – at the flagship Selfridges location on Oxford Street in May 2018. I remember specifically as I was flying to my friend Gabi’s wedding in the Bahamas the next weekend and I brought these in my carry on and claimed the VAT reimbursement on the way back. Over the last six plus years they have certainly had a good life but sadly it looks like they are not for sale anymore. The closest I found from the brand are these LKB Runner Silver and Gold Leather Trainers which retail for $275. However, if you are looking for a more affordable option I also really like these ones from Bannaa Republic ($60) Cole Hann ($99) and Sam Edelman ($100) and Solodus ($139).
What do you think of these LK Bennett Metallic Sneakers?
