AMAZON PRIME DAY IS HERE!

This is one of my favorite days of the year and when I accidentally wrote the title of this post in caps I decided to leave it as that truly shows my excitement.   And because Mark asked me yesterday I realized perhaps not everyone knows what this means – for 48 hours (Tuesday, October 13th and Wednesday,October 14th)  Amazon Prime members can get massive deals in nearly every category of the site.  Some deals last for the whole 48 hours, some are a limited quantity and only last until that number of items have sold and some are lighting deals, only valid for a few hours. 

I have been a Prime member since University and currently have Amazon accounts in six countries (crazy I know but when my backup phone charger stopped working in Italy last week you better believe I Italian Amazon Primed a new one to my hotel… 🙂 ).   And while you can go a bit crazy with the sales I always find it is best to make a list of the things you need / have been looking out for before you log on and then do some focused shopping or else you can get carried away.  It is great for tech items (often where you will find the biggest sales) and also every day household goods.  Take a look at the 12 items I put in my cart this morning:

I am quite happy with how my Prime Day 2020 is shaping up and I will be checking out in the next few minutes to make sure I will not be missing any of these deals – though you better believe there will likely be a few more purchases before Wednesday evening – hello, lightening deals! And not everything will be on sale – I was hoping that the Theragun Elite Massage Gun would be on sale as well as the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer but alas, I may have to wait for Black Friday for those two!

And for my friends in the UK, I know many of the deals are different but I have not forgotten about you – here are the items I am buying (and they will all be at my london flat by friday)!
