As you all know we found a new place to live in February, we moved in March (the week before quarantine) and now in April I have begun to share how we are decorating our new flat! YAY!!! There are so many daunting white walls that are just begging for decoration and floor to ceiling windows that need treatments but I need to not get ahead of myself – with today’s post, I wanted to share a recap of the moving checklist I put together for your to cross off before the moving trucks arrive!
To help make the move easier I put together a massive checklist for all of the things we need to move, bring, and buy for our new apartment as well as things we need to do. And when that list is totalled up it equals more than 200 Essentials? Yes, you heard me right. And while that sounds quite daunting when I was thinking any last minute things I could be forgetting I really wish I had a comprehensive (and yes, maybe a little overboard) moving checklist like this handy:

I bet you never thought this would help the parent of a college age mom but it is. My daughter is moving into an off campus apartment in the fall, hopefully, and this list is going to be really helpful. The moms and girls can divy up things to search for that we might have missed.

This is super helpful and I have friends moving soon and now I know a few housewarming gifts I can get them.
Gift cards are usually what I do but I like the board game idea and coffee table books so they will always think of me when they sit at their coffee table or play a fun game.
