Even though I have lived in London for the last year and a half, believe it or not I have gone on a few London Bike Tours. Since I had such great experience with Fat Tire Bike Tours on my first one, that is the company I chose to go with in London, specifically the Royal London Bike Tour. I have done this tour a few times now and event sent my parents on it when I was at work back in July. I am not sure why
Bike tours are my favorite ways to see cities and I have done it in Budapest, Barcelona, and Berlin and more! Doing a bike tour in my own home city may seem a bit silly but London is quite spread out and really is quite bikeable. Plus there are many attractions you just want to see, not go in, so this is the perfect way to check them off the list especially when people come to visit for only a long weekend! Specifically, the tour which starts just North of Kensignton Park has you stop at Kensington Palace, cruises by Buckingham Palace, has a stop at Trafalgar Square, you get to see The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, you learn a ton about Westminster Abbey and cycles through many of the The Royal Parks.
Overall it was a great tour and definitely a London activity that I highly recommend!

It’s not silly to do a bike tour in your hometown. I’ve done two different ones in New York and seen very different parts of the city and learned a few interesting facts that I share with my friends when they come to visit. When anyone ask me the best thing to do when they visit the city I tell them to go on a bike tour and if they can’t bike then at least a walking tour and or a bus tour.

Such a pretty city. I look forward to getting that one day and will definitely do a bike tour. Also been following all of your other travel tips for when I get there.

A bike tour when I get to a new city is one of the first things I book. Great way to get my bearings and note what I want to see more of.
