For a girl that does not drink beer I am writing about my third beer factory tour in a third European country – some might say I a on my way to being converted to a beer drinker but they should know better. (You may remember by Guinness Tour in Dublin, Ireland or my Bourgogne des Flandres in Bruges, Belgium). Beer is still not my favorite but I am all about the expense and touring the original Heineken Factory – aptly named the Heineken Experience is definitely a must when you are in Amsterdam. I have now been four times in as many months but I visited on my first trip with my brother on our way home from Africa.
You get a green stretchy bracelet (think Live Strong) with two green buttons attached to it, each good for a drink. They can be turned in at the end of the tour where either you can pull your own pint – which clearly Kevin and I did – or you can have it poured for your.
