Hello again from Eastern Africa! Because of all of your sweet comments on my last check-in from my safari adventure (here in case you missed it) – I took some of the highly coveted Wifi at our last stop in the Masai Mara to share a few more pictures from the awesome family vacation I am on – this time from three different parks in Kenya.
After a very interesting border crossing from Tanzania en route to Kenya we passed Mt. Kilimanjaro and settled in at the base on the Kenyan side in Amboseli National Park. This park is most well known for their elephants and we saw many gorgeous ones – big and small! Then it was on to Mt. Kenya where we stayed at the world famous Mount Kenya Safari Club which not only straddles the Equator but also has an incredible animal orphanage. During this same visit we went to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy home of the most white and black rhinos per km in the world along with the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, founded by Jane Goodall . And then if that was not enough, I have also included some photos from our last stop here in Kenya – the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy!
I hope you are enjoying these safari posts and animal closeups because I have a ton more waiting when I finally dig through the thousands of photos I will have taken over this two week epic adventure.
Which animal from our Kenya Safari is your favorite?
