You may recall from my Spring cleaning post I got rid of a TON of shoes (and yes, that was a precursor to this move) – some because it was time for them to go and some because I did not have room. However, what I realized is that my favorite black pumps had seen better days and I had tossed them before I got to London. Therefore when I was shopping with Kitty during her visit a week and a half ago I decided to go for it and while browsing the very dangerous and gorgeous store that is Harrod’s I pulled the trigger on these gorgeous Ted Baker pumps.
In 2018 the Ted Baker shoe which is described on their website as, “Bow detail heel trim courts featuring a trendsetting high-cut vamp”. However, now in 2022 this exact model is discontinued but you can still get the nearly identical .
What drew me towards them was their classic shape merged with the interesting heel detail from the cut to the rose gold metallic bar detailing along the stiletto heel. And of course they come with a signature Ted Baker bow for a feminine finish that the brand is known for. And I had a bit of a hard time photographing it but I hope you can see the rose gold metallic trim at the toe too, I think it is such an understated and pretty detail. These heels are high – nearly four inches (a 100mm stiletto heel for my European readers) – but I found them surprisingly comfy and walked around the store for a good period of time before pulling the trigger. Take a look at let me know what you think!
These shoes are so pretty and i actually wore them on Saturday night – I had to break them in! While shopping I also saw the which I decided not to try on for fear I might like them too much but they are definitely on my wish list now!
What do you think of these Ted Baker Melissa pumps?

Wow, these look soooo sexy. I have a little black dress by him and these would go perfectly. The bow is to die for and adds a nice pop to the back of the shoe.

I love the look and style of these pumps. Perfect for date night or office. Pointy toe however because of big feet I can only handle for a few hours before I have to switch shoes. I do love the bow.
PS I tried to follow the link for the ankle booties but nothing shows.

The brand makes terrific totes!

I love it when shoe designers take into account that shoes like this get so scuffed in the toes and the back of the heel so they get ruined so quickly. Very smart embellishments. I also think the bow is adorable

Those are very cute, but how can you wear them? I can’t wear really high heels. Thanks for posting!
