Hi, hello, how are you doing? I am back from Scandinavia and at my desk on time on Monday morning. The way the magical flights back from Europe work I was able to spend all of Sunday in exploring Norway as my flight was not until 8pm and I landed back in NYC at 10pm. I’m happy I got two posts live for you last week while still in Northern Europe, cuz and xyaz, and now I wanted to share some of the highlights of the the second half of my week with you before the in depth recaps start!
After Copenhagen and Helsinki it was off to Sweden and the gorgeous capital city of Stockholm. I. LOVED. STOCKHOLM. I actually told my mom via FaceTime I would consider moving there if it wasn’t for the weather and how dark it gets in winter (max five hours of daylight, eek!) I did a TON over the course of the few days I was in town Stockholm, though! My favorites would be my visit to the Royal Palace, Fotografksia, and the Vasa Museum along with my guided tours of Drottiningham and the Parliament Buildings. Similar to Copenhagen, I rented a bike as a way to get around town and even with six different bike rides I still walked more than 20 miles around the city. And believe it our not, I still factored in some down time for a few delicious meals, my favorite Summer drink Aperol Spritz on the water, and a two hour visit to an amusement park!
The last stop on my epic Scandinavian journey was to Norway. Unlike the other countries I visited I spent more time outside the capital than in, spending time in Bergen, Flåm, and Gudvangen along with half a dozen other towns I can’t pronounce the name of as I cruised through the Fjords and explored the countryside via train. I ended the trip with a return back to Oslo and a full day of exploring the city. The Norwegian Fjords were definitely my part of my visit to the country but in the Oslo I liked the Vigelandsparken sculpture garden, the Opera House, and biking around the city on a beautiful day. For the last part of my Scandinavia highlights:
I know if you follow me on Instagram you have seen a few of these photos already but I spent the 8 hour plane ride home yesterday digging into the nearly 4,000 photos I took in Scandinavia so I promise there is lots of new photos coming soon in addition to these Scandinavia highlights! Being back to work is a bit tough but it is a short week for me as I am off to one of my best friend’s wedding this week in chagrin – the fun doesn’t stop!
Have you been to Sweden or Norway?

Wow. Welcome Back. Scandinavia looks so much fun and chilly even in summer. The sites and places look so clean and beautiful. Boyfriend would love this. He would take the bike tour and ride 10 miles in a day without a problem. Most for me is 2 miles before I tire. 2nd career for you should be travel agent. Where is next trip to.
