Earcuff Side Angle

After months and months of searching for the perfect earcuff I finally found one! You may recall I wrote about earcuffs in September 2014 and last Spring I decided I just had to have one, even though I would not have many occasions to wear it. As I only have one standard piercing I needed to find an earcuff that had a clip on at the top instead of a second stud and ideally one that went on the left ear as I part my hair on the left.

Let me tell you, this quest was difficult.  About half of the pretty earcuffs I found needed a helix or cartilage piercing to stay put.  The next set were quite heavy in my palm and would definitely not be wearable for more than a few minutes and then there were a lot of down right ugly ones. After months of searching not only did I find a cuff that met all of my criteria, I also found one that was jeweled and that can be worn for hours at a time (most clip ons are too tight, I have heard, and cause the ear to go numb).

    I am OBSESSED with all of the somewhat alternative earring styles out right now including the crawlers and cuffs! This gorgeous one I’d probably wear out for a night on the town, hair pulled to one side to show it off.

    I would dress it up or dress it down. I think it would look great with your hair up in a bun or pony tail. I think it would really showcase the Earcuff 🙂
