As you all know from my first blog interview and my post on my favorite color royal blue is tops the charts in my book. Then, last week, I admitted that black is my favorite color. So it makes sense that the combination of the two is also great! The past few months I have been pairing royal blue with it with white and metallics but as the weather changes I am excited to pair it with black!
Here are some of my favorite pieces that I have had my eye on:
This weekend I took this love to a new level, rocking this color combination in two outfits while in Washington, D.C. celebrating my birthday! I have a full recap and a pictures of me in these outfits coming in my birthday recap but to say it was a black and blue overhaul is an understatement.

Pairing blue with black is something I’ve always been really hesitant about (particularly when it comes to navy) but I’ve recently fallen in love with it! I think when it’s done correctly it can look extremely chic and fashion-forward- and you’ve definitely done it correctly!
