Walk in closets are one of my happy places. Never mind the fact that they are inherently bigger than a regular wall closet or wardrobe I love standing inside and being surrounded by clothes, most of which I lovingly purchased and love wearing. No matter what size your wardrobe, itโs how you organize it that makes life run more smoothly and I believe the mantra that you need to see what you have or you won’t wear it.
My dream closet is going to be at least the size of a small bedroom or larger. The room will have carpeted flooring, a silver and white color scheme with glamorous accents, including a mirrored chest and cabinets, cascading glass chandelier, and a plush velvet-upholstered ottoman. There were be three feet of walk space on all sides and at least one obscenely large floor to ceiling mirror. There will be no doors for the clothes so I can see everything. My shoes will be arranged by color and type on white melamine shelving because the shoes won’t scratch the material. These do not match exactly but this is what I want:
