What a wonderful, wonderful invention and a way to get through Wednesday afternoon. This is my beverage of choice day or night. Coca-Cola’s formula of 100 percent NutraSweet makes this zero calorie soft drink my favorite of anything I could choose to drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. I can definitely tell when I am served diet versus regular, especially because Diet Coke does not use a modified form of Coke recipe, but instead an entirely different formula. The same sentiment, even intensified, applies to Diet Coke versus Diet Pepsi. They are NOT the same thing. Not even close. This eCard perfectly describes my feelings on this matter.
And no, I am not worried that I am going to die of fake sugar – I am more concerned that the caffeine will give me the boost I need to get through whatever it is that I am doing and the carbonation helps keep me feeling full. I am not a big fan of any of the variations of Diet Coke that have been released including but not limited to Diet Cherry Coke, Diet Coke with Lemon, Diet Coke with Lime and Diet Vanilla Coke. Please just give me my regular Diet Coke and I will be a very happy girl.
