In partnership with Zappos I styled my Paige jeans and Freebird boots into for a relaxed and romantic holiday date night outfit. I am all for sky high heels and a gorgeous dress but sometimes that is not what the occasion calls for. When he picks the restaurant, you Google it, and you know swanky isn’t going to cut it I like mixing looks for a pretty yet casual romantic look – great for dinner regardless of the restaurant and still acceptable for the boys-boys bar when we pop in to catch the last few minutes of the game. Sure I stick out, but for all of the right reasons and I decided to head to my favorite castle in Central Park to take these photos:
While I don’t talk about my dating life much on Sparkles and Shoes, even though I could share at least one funny story a week, I have been on a few dates recently with a certain gentleman that puts a smile on my face. I decided that these black Freebird Irish boots and these Paige Skyline Ankle Peg jeans in Constance would be the defining pieces for my perfect casual, holiday date night.
I am excited as the weather gets colder (brr) and then warmer the variety of ways I can wear these Freebird by Steven boots as they handcrafted from start to finish, using a traditional Goodyear construction and sure to last years and years – they should know they have used their technique for centuries to create the highest quality boots. When paired with the jeans, and I have to agree with Paige, they design pieces you’ll live in-jeans that go from morning to moonlight; the perfect pair that works like a charm, always; pieces to help you stand tall in what you’re wearing, and take you exactly where you want to go.
Knowing I am ordering from a company that has a terrific track record and when they tell me three days, I will have a package in my hands in 72 hours bar any strange NYC weather catastrophes. (And that returns are always free and you have an entire year to decide) But I love that Zappos has killed it on the four C’s: clothing, community, culture, and customer service. And in case you did not get enough of my holiday gift guides last week (here, here, here, here, and here) Zappos has one of their own, with items under $50, $100, and $200, Zappos Holiday Gift Guide. As a reminder, here is how I styled the boots last time in my fall fashion look!
