This year Fashion Week and the Olympics coincided and I was notably MIA from both. I had knee surgery a week before the first runway show and I actually currently live in an apartment without cable, shocker! I was not planning to write about either (mainly because I was sad I missed them both), however, I do not think I can go without mentioning the shoes at Spring 2014 fashion week.
As expected, the spring runways in New York, London, Paris and Milan ran the gamete from beautiful, delicate lace stilettos to clunky monstrosities I don’t even know how to describe. Here are a selection of my favorites and a big shout out to Glamour for putting together the compilation of their sixty favorites from which I borrowed:
Cushnie et Ochs’ White Pumps
Blumarine’s Multistrap White Heels
J.Crew’s Bright Pumps
Christian Dior’s Sharp Ankle-Strap Heels
Moschino’s Satin Pumps
Jill Stuart’s Cutout Wedges
Emilio Pucci’s Peep-Toe Ankle Boots
Dolce & Gabbana’s Gilded Wedges
Preen’s Dainty Kitten Heels
Zac Posen’s Petal Pumps
Peter Som’s Printed Brouges
Narciso Rodriguez’s Pointy-Toe Pumps
Which city do you think had the best footwear?
And which pair of shoes do you want to take home?
