Dinner was unreal – to start off there were two appetizer courses: shecrab soup with crab claws, shrimp cocktail with more crab and snails with crostini. For the main meal I did get some turkey, stuffing, and gravy, per tradition, but skipped the potatoes in favor some more fish as well as candied yams with broccoli, and the last photo – the desserts were passed around the table but the pumpkin pie was delicious as was the pecan!
Today I have a little something extra for you from Datevitation! When Datevitation approached me the first thing I thought was, I’ve made it! I have seen the adorable coupon books on other blogs and was excited that they wanted to work with me. Plus, I love working with family owned companies (these are the owners), it is just so nice to give business to someone other than the big giants of corporate America. In case you are NOT familiar Datevitation allows you to make custom “love” coupon book. You pick from their fun date ideas, write the text, and receive a very professional book in the mail! It was SUCH a cute idea and I knew my mom would love it:
This is only one of the many pages I chose to put in my mom’s Christmas coupon book. Thanksgiving was a blast but I am now already looking forward to Christmas and actually giving my mom this Datevitation book. You can enter to win one through this Rafflecopter giveaway or you can use the promo code ‘SPARKLES’ promo code for $10 off and free shipping – just made sure to order by December 13 cut-off date in order to get it for Christmas!
