I love Influenster because they have an awesome program where they find the trendiest products send them to me for free in these amazing things called Vox Boxes. I received my first box in February when the theme was Valentine’s Day but with no major holiday this month (I do not count Father’s Day, sorry Dad), I was curious what it would be and thought it was so cute that is wedding themed. This Something Blue Vox Box is a lot of fun (I am curious why it is purple instead of blue though). Here is a look at what was inside the box:
Here are my thoughts about the awesome products that they packed into the June 2013 VoxBox:
Kiss everEZlashes – I have used fake eyelashes before the glue is always so tricky and often one side sticks to my lashes and the other side is just unglued. I was hesitant about these and very curious as to why they sent me two sets but I am very thankful as I really liked them!
LusterNow! Instant Whitening Toothpaste – This toothpaste is an Allure Beauty winner so I knew there was a very good chance I would like it as the majority of the products they endorse are winners in my book. I was hesitant, however, because many whitening products actually hurt my teeth – including Crest White Strips but because Influenster sent it to me I was willing to give it another go. Thank you, this was great and really worked I love how this helps me to get a super white smile! It’s only $7.99 too. And to top it off, even the flavor was great and had a cute name”Happy Mint”. Repeat purchase? Definite yes and my favorite thing in the box! (Check out my before and after pictures – one of the reasons I waited to post these reviews because I wanted to see if it works)!
Q-TIPs Precision Tips – I am loyal to the Q-tips brand because I’ve never found any other brands that seem to be as good of quality. It drives me crazy when a knock-off cotton swab bends while I am trying to use it. The only bad thing, these are not good for cleaning ears – too pointy. However, they were perfect to clean my keyboard, especially between the keys, and for fixing smudged eyeliner. I will definitely keep the cases after I use the 60 they sent me, but will most likely refill them with regular ones.
Dr. Scholl’s For Her Ball of Foot Cushions – I can see why they included this in the “Something Blue” VoxBox. I have used these before but it is so nice to receive a pair for free. My only negative with this product is that I realized they slide around so I use a bit of super glue to make sure they stay in place. In general I absolutely love how much more comfortable Dr. Scholl’s make my feet and these do not disappoint!
Urgent Rx Fast Powders – They have these at Duane Reade, one of the main NYC drugstores, right on the isle but I have never tried one so I was excited that this was an opportunity. The taste was satisfactory but I really did not see a difference in my overall post-gym soreness. I will be sticking with my usual two Advil.
MyTrio Rings – This pamphlet was disappointing My favorite thing about Influenster is the ability to try new products that I would not usually buy. Key phrase buy. Do not send me a catalog
They didn’t provide us with a ring, but that would have been awesome. Nothing here to review.
