HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!
I have an amazing date tonight with the Windy City and I will be sure to post about it this weekend.
I am currently I am wearing the tights I wore in this photo I posted on Instagram earlier this year - I bought these adorable red tights around the holidays from Target. As it is still hovering around the freezing point tights in mid-February and they are absolutely necessary when wearing dresses or skirts but I am so sick of the typical black. Almost everyone I have seen today had on some form of red to celebrate the holiday and I know many people who were debating how to make the day to evening or office to dinner outfit switch and my suggestion is with that va-va voom dress (like I featured last week in my Thursday Trend: Valentine's Day Dresses). My suggestion would be to pair it with a conservative cardigan and an adorable pair of patterned tights to take your look from sexy to sweet. I have been looking around for great pairs of patterned tights and I was pleasantly surprised at how many I was able to find. Here are my favorite patterned tights that are dainty, polka dot, and sweater material:

I love the idea of patterned tights but they look much better on other people than on me. IF I could pull them off, I would definitely do the houndstooth and the fair isle! I love the red on you though...perfect for V-day! :)
