I hate to say this but I am SICK of boots, honestly, I am just over them. Yes, they are cute and comfortable and very easy to wear but sometimes a girl just needs a break! My solution? Metallic flats with black tights. (All of that being said there is a little something called NEMO, a blizzard, not the cute fish, that is supposed to hit New York today and in preparation I rocked my ridiculous boots with the fur, but back to metallic flats) They add a great pop of color to any outfit! I have two pairs of metallic flats that I bought in Rome and they are great shoes to throw on when heading out the door.
For the rest of winter, spring, and even into summer metallic flats can be a great addition to almost any outfit. Here are my favorite metallic flats from J.Crew, Kate Spade, and BCBG Generation.

The JCrew ones are gorgeous. I have a pair of silver bow flats (I'm always wearing them, I'm sure you've seen them) but I've been wearing nothing but boots lately. I was really hoping we wouldn't be getting any more snowstorms this winter but I was wrong :(

Omg! i agree! I am over boots and prefer flats b/c of all the cute details they can have. Metallics are also my favorite (especially gold.) I need a pair of silver ones like yours.
