There are some items that my mother fondly refers to as "investment pieces" - pieces which are usually more expensive than your usual purchases but very well made and an item that you will have for years - and which in my New Year's Resolutions I have promised to invest more of, and less into the trendy, silly things I buy frequently. One of these pieces I have now had in my closet for the past seven years is this black and white paisley dress with a key hole top. This is my fourth post in my "I really love my...." series, after posting about my chevron dress, black ruffle top, and leaf earrings. This wonderful piece is truly something I wear frequently are here are a few events in which I have worn the dress:
Grandparents 50th Anniversary
One of 18th Birthday Celebrations

My College Graduation

New York City Living with Joe Bastrianch
Do you have any investment pieces that you have had in your closet for many years?
What do you think of this dress?

love your look dear ^^

So cute I love that you have events to rewear!
ReplyDeleteMy J. Crew pencil skirts (all 5 of them now I think) were all investment pieces. A little more expensive, but I wear them ALL THE TIME.

A classic black and white print never goes out of style!! Great investment purchase.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any investment pieces because I usually feel to guilty spending a large sum of money on one item...
But if I did, it would probably be a bag or shoe I know I would love for a long long time!!
