My Spring 2013 TV

Happy Martin Luther King Day!  

I am enjoying the long weekend and getting a massive kick on my New Year's Resolutions (hello spin class) and catching up on all of my shows, but before I get into that I want to thank all of you for the wonderful comments on the Nude Lace Ankle Booties I posted about on Friday - you were all so curious to see how I styled them and I am happy to share with you (with apologies, though, that I do not have a great photographer and thus all of these images are cropped from larger photos).

One of my favorite things about blogging is the amazing people I have met and the wonderful comments and emails I get in response to my posts.  Earlier this month my post about Honey Boo Boo resulted in more emails than any other I had received.  Some people were very negative in my endorsement of an overweight child, but this blog is about my personal opinions and I am not going to dignify those mean comments with a response. However, I will respond to the few emails and comments I have received about what other shows I watch.  My TiVo is very booked on "school nights" and here is a run down of my weekly watch list:


MONDAY



TUESDAY


WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY




SUNDAY




And you know what?  I am totally okay with having this many shows.  One of my favorites, Sami from Sami's Shinaneigns, said it best in her Everyone is Getting Married post:

"We all know that I'm basically having a love affair with my DVR. I think my Season Pass list is like 40 shows long. That's pretty embarrassing, but you know what? I can record all of those shows because I'm not sharing it with anyone. Every Real Housewives franchise? Done. Pretty Little Liars? Yes please. I thank god everyday that there is no ESPN or CSI taking up space on my beloved DVR."

  14. Oo so many good ones - I can't wait for Smash to come back and I LOVE Nashville and Scandal! I think Revenge is my favorite though - it makes Sunday nights so much better!

  27. Ok we have similar taste. 1. I love honey boo boo 2. biggest looser time, biggest looser time! best show ever!, but I watched Nashville and gave up on it.   35. I want a pair of velvet leggings so bad! I'm hoping I can find a pair on sale now that the spring stuff is everywhere. You have a lot of shows, girl! That's what TiVo is for! I love TV haha. I use to watch so many shows, but I've given up on most of them for the time being. I'm dying to give Downton Abbey a try though!

  36. Smash is one of my favourite shows and I really love New Girls too! I just got Netflix and have started watching "The Riches" which I really like too. Nothing wrong with tv, it's good self care time! LOVE those ankle booties paired with the beautiful pink top!

  45. I miss my Tivo! It's so hard to keep up with all the shows I want to watch without one so I've had to narrow down the number of shoes I watch! Smash is amazing, it's my favorite :)
